Services

Eye care and eyewear, under one roof.

Examinations, contact lens fitting, children's eye care and dispensing — with onward referral when a finding needs a specialist.

  • Eye Examination

A routine examination checks how clearly you see at distance and near, how well your eyes work together, and the general health of the front and back of the eye. If correction is needed you leave with a prescription; if it is not, we will tell you so.

    What it covers

    • Vision and refraction check
    • Assessment of eye coordination and focusing
    • Examination of eye health
    • Written prescription where required
  • Eye Health Check

Many eye conditions develop without early symptoms, which is why the health of the eye is checked as a matter of course rather than only when something feels wrong. Where a finding needs specialist attention, we explain what we have seen and refer you onward.

    What it covers

    • Examination of the front and back of the eye
    • Discussion of any findings with you
    • Advice on how often to return
    • Referral where specialist care is needed
  • Contact Lens Consultation & Fitting

Contact lenses need to fit the shape of your eye, not just correct your prescription. A fitting covers measurement, trial, and teaching you how to insert, remove and care for lenses safely, followed by an aftercare check.

    What it covers

    • Measurement and lens selection
    • Trial lenses before you commit
    • Handling, hygiene and wear guidance
    • Aftercare review
  • Children's Eye Care

Children rarely report a sight problem, because they have nothing to compare their vision against. An examination checks sight in each eye, how the eyes work together, and whether anything is likely to interfere with reading and close work.

    What it covers

    • Age-appropriate vision testing
    • Eye coordination and focusing checks
    • Guidance for parents on what we found
    • Advice on when to return
  • Eyewear Dispensing & Fitting

A frame has to suit your face and hold the lenses in the right position. We help you choose, take the measurements the lenses are made to, and adjust the finished pair so it sits comfortably and stays put.

    What it covers

    • Frame selection and styling advice
    • Fitting measurements for your lenses
    • Adjustment of the finished pair
    • Repairs and re-adjustment
  • Prescription Lenses

The lens matters as much as the frame. We go through the options — single vision, bifocal or progressive, lens material, thickness and coatings — and explain what each one changes, so the choice is yours rather than a default.

    What it covers

    • Single vision, bifocal and progressive options
    • Lens material and thickness advice
    • Coating options explained
    • Lenses fitted to your chosen frame

Questions

What people most often ask us.

How do I book an appointment?

Call +91 9002526009, email contact@optoverse.in, or send a request through the booking form on this site and we will get back to you to confirm a time.

How often should I have my eyes examined?

It depends on your age, your prescription and whether you have any existing eye or health conditions. We will advise how long to leave it before your next visit at the end of your appointment.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

We recommend calling ahead so we can set aside time for you and make sure someone is free when you arrive.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring your current glasses or contact lenses, any previous prescription you have, and a list of any medication you take. If you are coming for a contact lens check, bring your lens details too.

Can I bring my child for an eye test?

Yes. We examine children as well as adults, using tests suited to their age. Children do not need to be able to read letters to have their eyes checked.

Can I use a prescription from somewhere else?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a valid prescription from another optometrist and have your glasses made up here. Bring the written prescription with you.

Not sure which appointment you need?

Tell us what you have noticed and we will book the right one — or tell you honestly that you do not need one yet.
